Jana herr
PT. DPT. MS. CKTP

Dr. Herr received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1998. After leaving Boston, MA and returning to New York, she began practicing physical therapy in Long Island.

Dr. Herr’s graduate work includes an Advanced Masters’ degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College.

Dr. Herr has specialized in outpatient orthopedics with a strong commitment to manual therapy. Continuing education credits include training with the Mulligan Method, McKenzie Institute, the Institute of Physical Art, Integrated Manual Therapy Solutions, Maitland Concepts, and ACL injury and prevention, and is a kinesiotaping practitioner.

Raymond E.Bowles
DC. CKTP

Dr. Bowles received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Hofstra University in 1989 and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1992.He had worked in a multi-disciplinary medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy practice for many years.

In 2006 Dr. Bowles completed his certification in Electrodiagnostics and Nerve Conduction Studies. He has been a member of the New York State Chiropractic Association for 16 years and is extremely dedicated to his profession. Continuing education credits include Kinesiotaping Techniques, Mulligan Method, Cox Technique and decompression Therapy to name a few.

Dr. Bowles is known for his caring nature and is always willing to go one step beyond to give his patients the care and treatment they need to improve their quality of life. All of his patients will agree that he genuinely cares about their recovery.

Scott Yerys
PT.DPT.MA. OCS. CERT. MDT. CSCS

Dr. Yerys holds a Masters’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

He is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. This certification, which is held by less than 10% of physical therapists, entails advanced academic and clinical skills in the field. In addition, Dr. Yerys is a McKenzie certified therapist, which is an advanced spinal assessment and rehabilitation certification. He is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Yerys has experiences including exercise testing with professional sports teams as well as numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.

He is currently working as an associate professor at Hofstra University and assistant professor at Stony Brook University’s doctorate program in physical therapy.

James Deguido
PT. DPT

HDr. DeGuido received his doctoral degree in physical therapy from Mercy College and has been working in the field of physical therapy for over 20 years.

Dr. DeGuido has had a lifelong passion for fitness. As a former gym owner and avid weight lifter, he brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of the rehabilitation process to his practice. Since completing his doctoral work in physical therapy, Dr. DeGuido has specialized in out-patient orthopedics.

Continuing education credits include training with the Mulligan Method, McKenzie Institute, and advanced evaluation and treatment of the shoulder complex.

James Doerbecker
PT

Jim Doerbecker graduated from Buffalo University with his degree in physical therapy in 1994. Jim is a manual trained therapist specializing in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

Jim has over 25 years of experience serving the greater Levittown area communities in both administration as director of a large orthopedic medicine and rehabilitation practice for many years (formerly Nassau Orthopedics and Performance Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation) and in all aspects of physical therapy including acute hospital-based care and orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

Janine Bowles
Bookkeeper, Payroll
Adminstrator

Janine has been with Spectrum since before it began. She has worked as a medical transcriptionist for Physiatrists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and Attorneys for many years. Her various administrative skills in accounting, bookkeeping, medical transcription, and medical billing have helped build and support the framework of Spectrum.

Linda Lannone
Receptionist

Linda is a wonderful receptionist at Spectrum’s front desk. She is always there to assist the patients and make their visit run as smoothly as possible. Linda’s friendly smile is a prime example of her outgoing personality.”I love getting to know the patients and seeing the easing of their pain with their recovery.”

Barbara Rothauser
Receptionist

Barbara is the front desk administrator at Spectrum. She has been with the office from the very beginning and has been in the health care field for over 15 years. Barbara is known for her caring and friendly nature, which is why all the patients love her.
